Kim Jarrell Johnson, Jurupa area historian and membership chair for the RHS, will talk about her research into drive-in movie theaters throughout Riverside County.  Kim will also lead a discussion about your fond memories of drive-ins, so join us for an interesting and interactive talk - bring your memories of drive-ins!

Program:

Nancy Wenzel, site interpreter for the Jensen/Alvarado Historic Ranch and Interpretive Services Supervisor for the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District, will discuss the history of the Jensen Ranch and family.  Cornelius Boy Jensen was a West-Riverside area pioneer, and the Jensen ranch house is one of the oldest buildings in Riverside County.

John Hale, historian for March Air Force Base, will talk about the history and development of the base, which is one of the oldest in the country.  John has a number of unique photos, and has also done extensive research into the relationship between March and Riverside.
